Operation Arrow is now recruiting staff for the upcoming National Jamboree, and this is an incredible opportunity to attend the Jamboree while serving the Order of the Arrow, meeting Arrowmen from across the country, and experiencing the event in a way very few ever do. Alongside the many benefits, Operation Arrow is one of the most affordable ways to attend the National Jamboree.
Operation Arrow is the Order of the Arrow’s official presence at the National Jamboree. It is a nationwide OA effort that provides service, program, and support across the entire Jamboree, while also delivering signature OA experiences for Arrowmen and all Scouts in attendance. Staffing with Operation Arrow allows Arrowmen to serve on a national level while fully experiencing the Jamboree.
Operation Arrow offers several unique staff opportunities:
OA Service Corps
- The OA Service Corps is the Order of the Arrow’s traditional service team, supporting Jamboree operations since 1950. Staff assist with contingent arrival, Jamboree staffing needs, show mobilization, and service across many areas of the event. This role offers broad exposure to all aspects of the Jamboree.
OA Summit Circle Experience
- The OA Summit Circle Experience brings the national OA ceremony site to life for Jamboree participants and staff. Staff help create meaningful experiences centered on ceremony, hospitality, and engagement at one of the most iconic OA locations at the Summit.
OA Legacy Experience
- The OA Legacy Experience at the Summit Center goes beyond a traditional exhibit. Staff support live multimedia events and interactive programming that showcase the Order of the Arrow and highlight the new permanent OA display at the Summit Bechtel Reserve.
OA Rendezvous
- The OA Rendezvous is a signature Jamboree event that brings every Arrowman together for fellowship and inspiration. Staff help plan and run this large-scale gathering that celebrates brotherhood and shared purpose. Tell your friends to bring their sash.
OA Staff Services and Communications
- OA Staff Services teams, including Communications, Administrative Services, Operations, and the Trading Post, support not only Operation Arrow staff but all youth staff at the Jamboree. These teams keep everything running smoothly and truly operate on an all-hands-on-deck approach.
We especially need staff for the Summit Circle Experience and the Legacy Experience. While these are currently our greatest areas of need, Arrowmen are encouraged to serve in any role that interests them.
