Totanhan Nakaha Lodge Leadership Development

The weekend of November 14–16, 2025, was one for the books!
Members from Naguonabe Lodge and Totanhan Nakaha Lodge came
together at Miller Castle for their annual Lodge Leadership
Development, or LLD. And let me tell you—this wasn’t just your typical
training weekend. From the very first step through the castle gates,
you could feel a sense of excitement, connection, and anticipation
buzzing in the air.

Arrowmen arriving that Friday were greeted by the castle
itself—complete with its towering walls and grand hallway—and
immediately you could see the smiles and eagerness. Everyone was
ready to dive into a weekend of learning, fellowship, and a little
friendly competition.

Of course, leadership development was the main event. Arrowmen
tackled sessions designed to sharpen skills they’ll bring back to their
chapters and lodges, all while sharing ideas and learning from each
other. But between trainings, there was plenty of room for fun and
bonding. The courtyard became a hub of energy during free time, with
games like color tag and ships across the ocean bringing out laughs,
cheers, and some friendly rivalry.

Mornings offered a quieter side to the weekend. Arrowmen enjoyed
lakeside views while chatting over breakfast in the dining hall, or
simply soaking in the calm before a full day of activities. Those
peaceful moments were a perfect balance to the fast-paced energy
elsewhere, and gave everyone a chance to connect in a more relaxed
way.

And then came the highlight: a trip to the waterpark. After a weekend
full of learning, it was time to let loose. Arrowmen could be found
racing down slides, playing poolside basketball, relaxing in the hot tub,
or testing their skills in the arcade. And yes—ice cream and pretzels
were a definite hit, keeping everyone fueled for fun and laughter.
All in all, the weekend at Miller Castle was more than just leadership
training. It was a chance to make new friends, strengthen bonds
between lodges, and create memories that will stick with Arrowmen for
years to come. If this LLD is any indication, Totanhan Nakaha Lodge is
in great hands for the year ahead—and maybe for years beyond that!
